Jared Goff was considered one of the top QB prospects in this years class as his Junior season began to wind down. He gained even more momentum, after he threw for 467 yards and 6 touchdowns in the Armed Forces Bowl against Air Force. Not long there after, Goff declared for the 2016 NFL Draft and was immediately pegged as the top QB in this class. A tall, lean build, Jared will need to put on weight/muscle in the NFL. There is a lot to like with his game but the most consistent part would have to be his  touch and placement, which combined with his anticipation allows him to throw receivers open. He does his best work from the pocket and can make every throw. Goff is however, a very underrated athlete and has shown the ability to move the chains with his arm and feet. Despite being the most “pro” ready QB in this class, he will need to work on reading a defense from under center and will have to show more consistent eye discipline.  After a strong showing at the combine, look for Goff to be selected at the top of round one come April.
