Jimmy is a versatile athlete who shows a lot of physicality as a bump and run corner.

  • Played corner and safety
  • High football IQ
  • Strength is pressing at the line.
  • A bit below average in zone coverage.
  • Respectable in man and bump and run.
  • Not a big hitter.
  • Has played every game the past four seasons.
  • Looked good in the NFLPA Bowl

Had 7 career interceptions.  Pruitt racked up 6.5 tackles for loss and 122 solo tackles in his career as a Spartan.

Jimmy Pruitt passes the eye test.  With a lot of experience under his belt, Pruitt should draw the attention of scouts.  The biggest opposing receiver that Pruitt has matched up against was Duke Williams out of Auburn.  He shadowed Duke and was able to physically take him out of seemingly every play.  Jimmy is a better fit for a team who has a tendency to run man on man schemes.  Pruitt could fit in a the nickel well.

NFL Comparison: Kyle Arrington
