The 2017 NFL Draft is an unusual year. There is no quarterback worth the No. 1 pick and there are some quarterback-needy teams in the top of the draft. This made it hard for me to compose a mock draft. The “Big Three” are Kizer, Trubisky and Deshaun Watson. Every single scout seems to have a different ranking on the three. I prefer Watson to all of them but see the highest ceiling in Kizer.

With only two offensive linemen in my mock draft, it is obviously a down year for linemen. The fact that there is not a defined left tackle in the Top 10 is a huge surprise. Cornerback is by far the deepest position in my mock draft, and I see a possibility of over 10 drafted in the first two rounds.

Jabrill Peppers is the hardest player for me to mock. He is my 11th best prospect, but size concerns could have him dropping anywhere. The end of the first round should be interesting. Watch out for playoff teams nabbing pass rushers, and cover corners to bolster their defenses for a 2017 Super Bowl run.
