NFL Scouting Combine Review: More than 300 prospects will assemble in Indianapolis, Indiana this weekend for the NFL Scouting Combine. March 3-6, prospects get the opportunity to show their true football and athletic abilities, but most importantly, maximize their draft value. Coaches, scouts, and other staff from all 32 NFL teams will convene as well to take a look at the players who could be the future pieces of their franchise, and will give them a better idea for who they would like to select in the 2017 NFL Draft that will take place April 27-29 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

Ways to watch NFL Combine: NFL Network will have live coverage of the NFL Combine March 3-6 beginning at 9 a.m ET each day.

 

Day 1: Friday, March 3rd is the first day of the NFL Combine. This will be the day the running-backs and offensive linemen perform. This is one of the deepest classes for the running-back position that we’ve seen in recent years, and the class of offensive linemen is filled with players that can help teams in the trenches right away. Here below is a list of prospects everyone should have an eye on Friday for the first day of the combine.

 

Players to Watch for Day 1:

Day 2: Saturday morning, the quarterbacks will congregate with the wide receivers and tight ends to maximize their draft stock. Day two will be filled with elite prospects that will undoubtedly put on a show for everyone watching. Quarterbacks get to throw to the top receivers of the class to show their true ability, along with the tight ends, and wide receivers that get to display their 40-yard dash time, along with their true football, and athletic ability. The classes at all three positions are filled with guys that have the capability to push any franchise over the hump. Below are a list of names to keep an eye on for the second day of the NFL Combine.

Day 3: Sunday morning, we will gather for the third day of the NFL Combine. During the third day we will get to see the abilities of the pass-rushing, run-stopping prospects that have solidified the front seven of their football team’s defense during their collegiate careers. The defensive linemen and linebackers will convene and are filled with guys that can make a major impact, and be elite at the next level. The list would be too long if I named every player to watch, but below are some of them to definitely keep an eye on Sunday morning.

Day 4: Monday will be the last day of the NFL Combine. Then, the top defensive backs will convoke to maximize their draft stock. At this position, it’s one of the deepest classes we’ve seen in a long time. With this class you can get a player in the middle rounds that would have first round value any other year. Below is a list of players to keep an eye on that can solidify any secondary at any level.
